[Patch] 09-03-2025

I'm partially back from my RL obligations, so it's time to resume our patch routine. I would have loved to bring new content this week, but unfortunately, time constraints made that impossible.

However, expect another patch next weekend with events aimed at gearing new (and not so new) characters.


GENERAL:

  • Improved game client performance by up to 50% (varies by system & situation). Known Issue: limiting FPS to 60 causes visual glitches on the stone bridge in RDN stage 1.
  • Improved serverside performance.
  • Attempted fix for skill ghosting at high action speeds.
  • Added Battle Howl, Raid, and Incarnation of Darkness to the BTG buff list.
  • Attempted fix for certain player disconnections at portals.
  • Hong Kong has been removed from SHD's SEA region schedule.
  • Inject & Inject EX can no longer hit summons.
  • New setting in DNO Custom Tab: "Display CDR directly". This displays cooldown reduction directly on skill icons instead of speeding up the cooldown visually.
  • Fixed an issue allowing minimum physical ATK to exceed the raid limit.
  • Speedrun Board has been reset.

CLASS CHANGES:

Elementalist:

  • Fire Ball: Damage increased by 30%.
  • Ignition: Damage increased by 100%.
  • Inferno EX: Can now end skill way earlier by left-clicking.

Seleana:

  • Burning Hand: Base activation chance increased (20% → 30%).

Arcanist:

  • Linear Ray: Damage increased by 120%.
  • Nine Tail Laser: Damage increased by 40%.
  • Spectrum Shower: Damage increased by 30%.

Illumia:

  • Laser Cutter: Damage increased by 20%.

Acrobat:

  • Air Walk: Slightly increased hitbox.
  • Kick Shot: Damage increased by 20%.
  • Binding Shot: Damage increased by 20%.
  • Double Somersault Kick: Damage increased by 20%.
  • Spiral Vortex: Damage increased by 20%.

Tempest:

  • Astral Illusion: Animation shortened & adjusted. Damage increased by 20%.

Sharpshooter:

  • Aerial Chain Shot: Damage increased by 30%.
  • Arrow Shower: Damage increased by 100%.
  • Scope Arrow: Damage increased by 20%.
  • Swift Shot: Damage increased by 20%.
  • Rapid Shot: Damage increased by 20%.
  • Tracking Arrows: Damage increased by 10%.

Sentinel:

  • Detonating Arrow: Damage increased by 30%.

Sniper:

  • Wind Shot: Damage increased by 15%.

Gladiator:

  • Physical Finesse: Physical ATK buff increased from 6% → 8% per bubble.

Screamer:

  • Spirit Paper: Damage increased by 40%.
  • Cling Snake: Damage increased by 50%.
  • Soul Gate: Damage increased by 30%.
  • Beast Spirit: Damage increased by 40%.
  • Dragon's Soul: Damage increased by 60%, cooldown reduced (100s → 70s).

Soul Eater:

  • Dragon's Soul (Enhanced): Bomb effect duration reduced (15s → 10s).
  • Soul Scream: Cooldown reduced (40s → 35s).

Shooting Star:

  • Cannon Blaster: Damage increased by 60%.
  • Chemical Missile: Damage reduced by 20%.

Chaser:

  • Flame Locust: Damage increased by 60%.
  • Mortal Blow: Damage increased by 30%, cooldown reduced (18s → 15s).
  • Izuna Drop: Damage increased by 30%, cooldown reduced (24s → 20s).
  • Punishment: Damage increased by 20%.

Ripper:

  • Artful Chaser: Damage increased by 40%, cooldown reduced (20s → 18s).

Raven:

  • Crow's Deadfall: Damage increased by 50%, cooldown reduced (25s → 20s).

What's Next?

As mentioned, next weekend brings new events, including Rumble mode, focused on gearing both new and existing characters.

There's also a potential new challenge planned for the end of this cap: a new raids only garden-like map. SDN, GDN, DDN, and BDN (two per week, rotating) will be rebalanced and serve to upgrade current highest-tier gear (not replace it) preparing for an increased difficulty of RDN (Chaos).

This concept isn't finalized yet, so more details will be shared later, but this is aimed towards anyone that would like more challenging content.
